Self-Awareness Scoring

Instructions:

Subtract the total score of the self-report version from the average total score of all observers. Take the absolute value* of the result and use the Self-Awareness Table for scoring. PLEASE NOTE: Large disagreement between observer scores (widely different scores) may invalidate your self-awareness results. Repeat the observer scoring or replace the score determined to be the outlier with the results from another observer.

*In mathematics, the absolute value |x| of a real number x is the non-negative value of x without regard to its sign. Namely, |x| = x for a positive x, |x| = −x for a negative x, and |0| = 0. For example, the absolute value of 3 is 3, and the absolute value of −3 is also 3. The absolute value of a number may be thought of as its distance from zero.
